Weed control in general. Spreadsheet

We, lawn gourmets, generally divide weeds in the lawn into two types. Simply put, those that can be eliminated with herbicides without damaging the lawn (broadleaf weeds, such as clover, dandelions), and those that are essentially grass species but are undesirable in the lawn (grass weeds, such as annual bluegrass). Here we will discuss the first option. The second option is much more complex and requires a separate topic.
Controlling broadleaf weeds in the lawn is one of the easier and simpler lawn care tasks. If you spray with herbicides once or twice during the season, most broadleaf weeds will almost disappear from the lawn. Two things you'll need are herbicides and a sprayer. There is a tried and tested "cocktail" of herbicides that we recommend using once or twice per season. Typically in May and, if needed, in August. This "cocktail" can consist of a minimum of two components, but we recommend using 3:
-
Banvel 4S herbicide for lawns
-
MCPA herbicide for lawns
-
Lip Top surfactant
Finally, perhaps you shouldn't worry about what and how to mix, how much water to add, use our recommended calculator. This is another example of the friendship between mathematics and lawn growing.
