Description
Iron sulphate (green vitriol) has long been known as a moss control agent for lawns.

Iron fertilizers help plants maintain a higher chlorophyll content; plants become more resistant to unfavourable environmental conditions; in case of iron deficiency, leaves lose their rich green colour and become diseased – the foliage loses colour and shrinks (chlorosis); it lowers the soil pH around the roots, making it very suitable for acid-loving plants; in case of severe iron deficiency – it can be used as an additional soil fertilizer; it is a fast-acting fertilizer that is well absorbed by plants.

Instructions for use
For fruit trees, berry bushes and ornamental plants, when they lose their rich green colour, a 0.5% solution is used. Spray or water – 50 g dissolved in 10L of water.
To maintain lawn greenness and ornamental value, a 0.5% solution is used. Spraying rate: 50 g/10 L/100 m² of lawn.
Iron sulphate increases soil acidity, so it is perfect for fertilizing acid-loving plants such as hydrangeas, blueberries, rhododendrons, heathers, etc.
Fruit tree branches and trunks covered with moss and lichens will be ornamental if treated with a 5% solution – 250 g of iron dissolved in 5 L of water – in early spring or late autumn. Spray in spring before buds swell or in autumn – after leaves have fallen and at a positive air temperature.
When whitewashing fruit tree trunks, a 2% iron sulphate solution is recommended in the mixture - 200 g/10L of water.
Mossy lawns are watered or sprayed with a 1-5% solution (100-500 g in 10L of water), so the lawn will be ornamental again. First use lower solution concentrations, if necessary – increase. When watering, use more water – 30L of water / 100 m², when treating with a sprayer – 10L of water / 100 m² of lawn. After 7 days, rake the lawn with an aerator. Use only when deemed necessary. Do not exceed the relevant concentration values.
USAGE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

A 1-5% aqueous solution of iron sulphate is used.

To prepare a 1% concentration solution – dissolve 100 g of iron sulphate in 10 L of water in a plastic container.

When using a watering can, a larger amount of water is needed – 30 L of water/100 m², when treating with a sprayer - 10 L of water/100 m² of lawn.

ATTENTION!

A highly concentrated solution can burn plants if used in hot and dry weather;

May change the colour of wooden fences, concrete walls, paving stones; Protect other surfaces!

When spraying, we recommend using a surface-active agent which will improve the absorption and coverage of plant protection products, trace elements and other products on plants, as well as protective equipment required for spraying.
