ROOTSTAR™ is manufactured according to INTERMAG's proprietary formula. It contains a specific form of zinc, responsible for the growth and development of the root system. The product is intended for foliar application after plant emergence or after seedlings have taken root in the soil.

Nutrient composition:

  • 6.0% (67 g/l) water-soluble zinc (Zn) in the form of acetate

  • 1.5% total nitrogen (N)

Composition and safety:

  • Ingredients: water¹, zinc acetate¹ (CAS: 557-34-6), acetic acid¹ (CAS: 64-19-7), ammonia solution¹ (CAS: 1336-21-6). Where: ¹primary raw materials and mixtures.

  • Important note: this fertilizer contains ammonia, which can be released and affect air quality. Depending on local conditions, appropriate preventive measures should be taken.

Instructions for use

ROOTSTAR™ is applied foliarly in the form of an aqueous solution – fine or medium droplet spraying is recommended. It can be used in mixtures with other agrochemicals, after performing a compatibility test.

During treatment, avoid intense sunlight, high temperatures, and wind causing drift. Use only when there is a justified need. Do not exceed the specified rate. The product is intended for professional users.

Preparation of working solution:

  1. Pour 1/2–2/3 of the required amount of water into the tank.

  2. Turn on the agitator and pour in ROOTSTAR™.

  3. In the same way, following their instructions for use, pour in other permitted and recommended components of the mixture.

  4. Fill the tank completely with water. Use the prepared solution immediately after preparation.

Single fertilizer rate:

  • 0.8–1.2 l/ha

Application timing

(◆ optimal time, ◇ optional / recommended time):

  • Agricultural crops: ◆ after plant emergence, ◇ after spring vegetation renewal (for winter varieties).

  • Strawberries (production of potted seedlings): ◆ 2–3 days after planting in pots.

  • Strawberries (establishment of plantations): ◆ after seedlings have taken root.

  • Vegetables, ornamental plants: ◆ after emergence of plants from direct seeding / after rooting of species grown from seedlings.

  • Vegetable seedlings: ◆ after plant emergence, ◆ 3–5 days before the end of the seedling growing cycle (use a 0.05–0.1% concentration solution, i.e., 0.05–0.1 l of ROOTSTAR™ per 100 liters of water).

  • Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection/face protection.

     

  • IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

     

  • Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

  • Dispose of contents/container to an authorized waste disposal facility.
