Allett vertical cutting cartridge

This cartridge cuts the turf surface with vertical cuts. This reduces horizontal growth, promotes new seedling growth, and thus increases lawn density. It also reduces lawn "thatch" and allows more air into the soil, which helps break down organic matter. This cartridge also helps reduce weeds in the lawn, thus reducing the use of chemical preparations. The "Verticut" cartridge removes twice as much material from the lawn as the "Scarifier" cartridge. The lawnmower must be set to a height level so that the cartridge blades do not touch the soil, only the lawn thatch. By consistently using this cartridge, you will be pleasantly surprised by the results it produces. We recommend using this cartridge every two weeks during the season.

The cartridge can be used throughout the season - from April to October.
